The waterwheel on the Krummsee stream near Kramsach is a historic undershot waterwheel that, despite its small tributary, was once visible from afar. After careful reconstruction, it is now once again actively and visibly operating in the landscape – a charming feature along the Krummsee stream and a piece of living technological history. Renovated in 2023, the waterwheel is once again turning in its original location – now primarily as a tourist attraction and a reminder of the water-powered technology that was part of everyday life in Kramsach for centuries.

Entry now costs €4 and you have to go through a turnstile...some of the sayings on the crosses are quite funny...I also find the old crosses with dates and locations very interesting.

After a climb up the 1948 meter high Roßkogel in the Brandenberg Alps, you will be treated to a wonderful view of the valley and the surrounding mountains.

Here you can enjoy the view and watch skydivers jumping into the valley.

In just a few minutes you walk through a small depression from the eastern to the northern summit cross, where you can see a part of Brandenberg.
