Good, visually great hut (Stöffelhütte just below Walleralm), cows right next to it, can be disturbing (smell)

The Jagersteig is generally easy to walk and is recommended. We hiked it with two children (8 and 10). But it's not for the faint of heart, especially with children. This trail definitely requires surefootedness and a certain amount of confidence in the abilities of the little ones. (It's very slippery in places and the descent is steep.) Some sections lead over short scree patches, but most of the time you're in the forest.

Here you have a beautiful 360-degree panoramic view, and the nearby Stöfflalm is sensational. 😍👍

A fantastically beautiful place with lake reflections.

Easy A/B via ferrata with currently four snowfields obscuring the ropes and trail. Three are easily climbable, but the last one is impossible to climb around and is risky to traverse without crampons, as it is rock-hard frozen in the shady gully and extremely steep (over 50 degrees Celsius). Be careful and know your limits! In mid-June, the route is certainly easy even for beginners, once the snowfields have melted and you're not afraid. Helmets are mandatory!
