Only the SBB lines S29 and S1 are still in operation. A lot of tracks, a large, rather disused freight yard, and a few old locomotives and wagons (mostly scrap) don't add up to much. But the story behind them is interesting.

The view is very limited due to forest cover. There's a barbecue area and an information board about the former Estate General of 1800, built by the French General Lacourbe.

Wonderful views of the Thur Valley with the vineyards in the foreground. I was looking forward to a stop at the rest. View, but was not successful because there was a large rush and the service was therefore sluggish.

Nice small village located on a Swiss regional cycleway with a small restaurant. Nice location to sit back, enjoy a few sun rays. The cycleway to this magnificent vineyard is all paved asphalt and great condition.
