Good stretch of road for a relaxed tour. There are numerous cycle routes that lead through the Dürnbuch Forest. The forest has a long history and was once part of hunting grounds. Sections of this forest area are now protected.

Basically a nice, wide asphalt bike path, but the many junctions and the "curving around" them together with game barriers and gates does not make it any easier to ride on. There would certainly have been more elegant solutions here.

Entry and exit of the new cycle path are not good (90 °, transition to gravel / main road). In addition, interruptions by forest entrances (zigzag). Also not cleaned regularly. It's a shame about the actually nice smooth asphalt. I will rather avoid this route, it is more for retirees.

New cycle path along the B300. Asphalt is great, smooth and rolls nicely :-) In the evening you should be careful. I had deer along the way several times. The forest entrances are a bit annoying, you have to slow down :-D
