There is a beautiful wooden walkway along the wall, with several places to sit on the wall, but be sure to get an ice cream first.

The Abensberg city center offers many restaurants and towards Aventinusplatz is one of the best ice cream parlors.

In 1784, the ice floes were 3 to 5 m high on the road at this point and 85 workers had to work for 10 days to make them passable for traffic. A new road was built and a monument was erected for it to the then sovereign.
