The conference hotel was built after the fall of the Berlin Wall as a savings bank academy, with students staying overnight on site, similar to a boarding school. The architecture was intended to be reminiscent of the airships that took off from here during the Weimar Republic. When the original concept no longer worked, the facility was converted into a hotel in 2004.

In 1842, Ludwig Persius designed three forest houses on the edge and this one in the middle for the forest officials.

A nice place to stop, especially for hikers. 4-5 paths lead to a parasol... in the middle of the forest. There is a nice place to sit... and great big areas for playing. Ideal with children or groups!

The large meadow around the star is also suitable for nice picnics and wild football games.

We stayed overnight here. The whole house is very clean and also has very friendly and helpful staff!
