The hiking trail around the lake is approximately 7 km.

Small, public bathing beach with toilets, clean and well-kept. Due to the low water level of the Groß Leuthener See due to the years of drought, bathing is unfortunately only possible to a limited extent (status: 2020/2021). It used to be nicer. Because of the low water, the swimming pontoon has unfortunately been removed.

This place is laid out very nicely and generously by the community.

There are a lot of mosquitos in some places

The beach near the Terrassen Café is very quiet and not very busy. The beach has nice sand and when the wind blows favorably, the water quality is also acceptable. The public toilet is in good condition and is cleaned regularly. So nothing stands in the way of a short rest to cool down.

The small bathing area of Klein Leuthen invites you to swim. Unfortunately, you have to pay a little attention to aquatic animals. Most of them are quite shy, so that you can enjoy the small cooling well. If you feel a little hungry while swimming, drive on the adjacent path about 1km west to Groß Leuthen. At the village beach lies the Terrassen Café Groß Leuthener See. The stop is worthwhile.
