A beautiful small harbor that is fitted into nature. I like the bridge over the canal - you have a nice view of the boats here and if you look the other way you have pure nature. Passed by here a couple of times and saw a beaver swimming every time.

Supplement to the NSG Dammmühlenflowniederung (Owl Bridge): ATTENTION: after crossing the owl bridge and the meadow, you should keep left and then drive to the main road to the south. Then continue in the direction of Möllen. If you follow the path to the right after crossing the owl bridge and the meadow, you will come to an old wooden footbridge, but it is now completely broken and flooded. That would be a dead end. If you go further in front of the boardwalk, you will immediately come to a meadow, but the coupling was open and you can reach the other side via a rickety boardwalk and continue in the direction of the main road to Möllen.

Very pleasant place for a rest

The good path through Glowe (with castle) along the lake shore is idyllic. We continue towards Friedland through moderately poor forest paths. There is a crossing over the NSG Dammmühlenfließniederung (Eulenbrücke). But the forest paths around them are partly bad, partly steep. But if you love adventure, you should take the path and then continue towards Möllen.

The Schwielochsee is always worth a trip. Whether by boat, on foot or by bike. There is always something new to discover.
