The route isn't new anymore. Having to cycle on a narrow footpath has never been a highlight. But it's better than taking the sharp right-hand bend on the road. The alternative route to Bestensee via the lakeside path is more suited to mountain bikers, especially in bad weather.

And then you have to carry the bike. The tour south of the Atodnitzsee is only suitable for hikers with Giretex boots. Not for cyclists!!!

This is the connecting ditch between the Todnitz and Zeesen lakes (Fanggraben). A few meters further north of the B179 bridge over the ditch is the Körbiskrug lock.

A beautiful hiking route along the lakes, the beaver obviously likes it there too. There are many beaver works of art to be discovered here

2022 newly built footpath and cycle path along the B 179. Unfortunately, it ends at the end of the village in the direction of Jungstesee. Alternatively, you can use the narrow shore path along the lake to Bestesee!

Biberburg

Today was a sunny winter day and the snow enchanted the landscape. I just wanted to walk around the Todnitzsee and not follow the green-marked path around the large and small Tonsee, because I would have had to walk the last part on the country road and I would have to walk with my dog did not want to, I had my companion fetch the car and crossed the B179 and had me picked up at the large parking lot from where you can also get to the Tonsee or the horse pasture in 5 minutes at the ZeesenerSee.

The small but stable bridge spans the Fanggraben, which connects the Pätzer Vorderesee with the Todnitzsee.
