The Gehspitzweiher pond was created from a gravel pit. In my childhood/youth I occasionally went to the lake, which was then used as a bathing lake. Today it is a nature reserve. Many water birds have their habitat here.

At first I thought "why is someone doing a tour where I'm supposed to drive in circles". But here you can ride really great and fast gravel bikes

The pond is really beautiful and definitely recommended. However, the Google translation “Street” is wrong; it is a normal forest road, partly a footpath. There are many pedestrians during excursions, who are certainly grateful when cyclists move carefully, preferably those who walk a good 2 km straight away.
