Step by step we walk around the lake, each tree feels mightier than the next, some with considerable girth, it is not just oaks with an impressive size, willows also stand out. The bathing area at Ivenacker Lake was lovingly renovated at the end of 2024. There are seating areas and sports equipment for physical activity.

The teahouse is located southeast of the castle, about twenty meters from the lake shore. The building, which stands in the center of the park, is a highlight of the stately complex. In the 17th and 18th centuries, the desire for intimacy increasingly encouraged the construction of so-called pleasure houses, which are also known in France as "maisons de plaisance". These not only served as an intimate retreat for the rulers, but were also places of elite entertainment, offering space for games, music and dancing.
