It's now reopened under new management! There's also a new beach area. The service concept is now entirely self-service. The food was good. 👍🏼

When the first warmer days of the year arrive, the Moorstrandhaus on Hücker Moor opens its doors. Here you can relax in the sun on lounge chairs and enjoy a drink while enjoying a small snack. My highlight from 2021 needs an update. Something has changed at the location, some things have gotten better, some things have gotten worse and many things remain the same. The selection of food was significantly better at the beginning. What remains are the typical snack dishes, manta platters, etc., just run of the mill... The biggest problem is still logistics. One place for cold drinks, one place for hot drinks, one place for food. I have nothing against self-service, but it can take a while until you have everything at your table and in the worst case, the food is cold before you have the drinks. Splitting up for procurement is also bad, as the table can get lost. This should be centralized.

That is the total holiday atmosphere at the Moorstrandhaus... the absolute hit.

Especially nice and sunny in the morning/noon, later more shady. If you have folding chairs, you could also sit in the bays on the shore...

Well done. It's like a short vacation here. The ideal place for a relaxing break.

Newly opened in 2021 on the Hücker Moor in beach style with palm trees and heaped sand. Nice place right on the lake.
