The people of Münster are lucky to have a local recreation area that is practically connected to the city center. From the LWL Museum of Art and Culture to the Aasee, it takes less than ten minutes on foot to be in the countryside and to be able to take a walk on the lake or a pedal boat ride. Two sailing clubs, the Münster Allwetterzoo and the LWL Museum of Natural History with planetarium as well as the Mühlenhof Open Air Museum are located near the banks of the Aasee and offer a varied range of leisure activities. I found another intact bridge and it is beautiful. Well thought out and designed. With steps leading down to the water and half partitions for privacy.

The little house at the end of the jetty is beautifully made. The steps leading down to the water make excellent seating, bringing you right to the water's edge. The semi-open walls also provide a sense of privacy. The wood is warm and inviting. The whole thing is well thought out and designed, a true work of art!
