The Bravura Dam stretches across a vast expanse of water that reflects the Algarve sky. On intensely hot days, the water level drops, revealing the riverbed, sometimes even with cattle grazing where there was once water. But in any season, the scenery remains serene and stunning, worthy of its name.

Relatively flat gravel road, next to a forest with pine trees, eucalyptus and cork oak, offering a good off-road access to Bravura Lake, coming from the East.

After a steep climb from Pincho, the road descends very gradually, offering the time to admire the trees on both sides of the road.

Low-traffic, wavy country road without hard shoulders (not needed either). Constant ups and downs lead past the dried-up reservoir (B. de Bravur). Asphalt is great.
