The Bockerlbahn Cycle Path follows a former railway line from Landau an der Isar via Aufhausen and Simbach near Landau to Arnstorf. It continues on quiet roads to Schönau and Postmünster, where the Bockerlbahn Cycle Path connects to the Rottal Cycle Path. The cycle path between Landau an der Isar and Arnstorf is particularly family-friendly, connecting the Isar, Vils, and Kollbach valleys without any major climbs. The section between Arnstorf and Postmünster, however, requires more fitness due to the more varied elevation and is more suitable for sporty cyclists. The diverse landscape is particularly charming. It passes forests, historic buildings, and numerous biotopes. Cozy country inns and beer gardens along the cycle path invite you to enjoy a hearty snack. The cycle path has almost entirely an asphalt surface.
