The former Old Prison in Freising now offers an extensive cultural program with exhibitions and a small museum. Where courts once sat, people were arrested and even witch trials were held, there are now exhibition rooms, a small museum and a quaint wine bar. The Old Prison on Fischergasse is a building from the 17th century and was used as a court prison until 1965.
