The Brouwersdam is one of the hotspots in Zeeland. The 6.5 kilometer long dam is the connection between the islands of Goeree-Overflakkee and Schouwen-Duiveland. With the Grevelingen on one side and the North Sea on the other, the Brouwersdam is extremely suitable for water sports and relaxation.

Brouwershaven, commonly called Brouw, is located right on the Grevelingenmeer. It is a popular destination for water sports enthusiasts, and the marina is always full in the summer. The place is one of the protected city and village views of Zeeland. The tour boat Rederij Zeeland departs from nearby Den Osse for boat trips on the Grevelingen. In the summer months there is the opportunity to sail on a historic sailing ship from the dock.
