A visit to the church in Rambow is always worthwhile, but it's especially beautiful when the countless daisies are in bloom. 🌼🌼🌼

The path no longer exists unless you make your own way through a cornfield...

Due to countless fallen trees, the trail is no longer accessible to regular hikers. Those who enjoy climbing can still somehow get through.

An almost mystical place with an interesting layout.

The Old Plauer Landstrasse runs between Moltzow and Rothenmoor and used to be an important trade route. Today there is little to remind you of it: it is a dirt road that is a wonderful place to walk.

Ulrichshusen Castle is actually a manor house. It is beautifully situated on the Ulrichshusen Lake. The castle is used as an upscale hotel. But there is not just the castle with the small castle garden directly adjacent. Rather, it is an entire ensemble on the Ulrichshusen estate. Here you will find a good café and restaurant, among other things. The other outbuildings are used for various public events such as the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Festival.

The Domherrenhagen church ruins, commonly known as the Desert Church, are located directly on the Mecklenburg Chapel Trail not far from Ulrichshusen Castle. The church ruins were structurally secured in the early 2000s so that church services, concerts and weddings can occasionally take place here. A great atmosphere and one of the highlights of the Mecklenburg Chapel Trail. Not far from this Desert Church there is another Desert Church in Schorssow. - why there are several highlights here is a mystery to me! One would have been completely sufficient -
