The oratory in Berzona, the first district of Vogorno on the way to the Verzasca Valley, is located on the edge of the cantonal road and is dedicated to Our Lady of Lourdes. It was built in 1926 on the site of a chapel that was converted into an oratory over the years.

Very high with over 220 meters and a view of Lake Maggiore 💦

The path is not easy in places and can be slippery if it is wet, but you can get through it if you take your time. I was lucky: there was hardly anyone else on the trail!

Dam famous for Bunjee Jumping, thanks to a scene from the James Bond film Goldeneye which made this location famous. A beautiful valley to explore regardless of all this, the dam is certainly evocative and the view from the top is incredible.
