Trail around the Navacerrada reservoir.

This climb is legendary. It regularly appears in La Vuelta and is a favorite among local cyclists. It has a good surface and good gradient distribution. On the downside, depending on the day of the week, you may encounter traffic, and the shoulders aren't particularly cyclist-friendly.

Nice path that runs along the right bank of the Navacerrada reservoir. There are some sections with stones but most of it is completely cyclable. The views towards the reservoir and the Maliciosa mountain range are very beautiful.

If we follow the path that circularly surrounds the entire reservoir, we can enjoy several points like this one, very close to the water, like on the shore, perfect for taking a short break along the way and enjoying the landscape that surrounds us.

From the dam you can see the entire reservoir and the peaks that, with calm waters, are reflected on the surface. Various types of fish, ducks, and other waterfowl are also seen in the water. It is an ideal place to take out your camera, each season offers a different landscape.

The Navacerrada reservoir is located right between the town of Navacerrada and Becerril de la Sierra. It has been in operation since 1969 and is located at an altitude of about 1,200 metres. It is one of the main swamps in Madrid belonging to the Canal de Isabel II. It supplies water to a large part of the northern municipalities and specifically to the Sierra de Guadarrama.
