The parish church of St. Catherine belongs to the deanery of Silz in the Diocese of Innsbruck. The church and cemetery are listed as historical monuments. The church was first mentioned in 1303 and consecrated in 1352. The elongated church building, with its core in late Gothic style, was rebuilt in 1518, presumably by Jakob von Tarrenz.
