A great experience for the whole family

Visiting on weekdays from 9am is recommended as there are not too many visitors.

From the pictures and some of the comments you can see that even KTM cyclists do not always know that KTM bikes are a brand that has long been sold by KTM Motorcycles and has nothing in common with KTM motorcycles apart from the name and logo . Due to the boom in the bicycle industry and especially the e-bike trend, KTM Motorcycles tried in vain to buy back the KTM brand for bicycles. By the way: KTM Motorcycles still builds its own bicycles and e-bikes, just as a Husqvarna brand. So it's better to pose in front of the KTM logo with a Husqvarna bike than with a KTM. 😉

Mattighofen has had a special attraction since 2019 - the KTM Motohall. As the birthplace of the KTM brand, everything in Mattighofen revolves around powerful engines. The architecturally appealing building is a real eye-catcher, inside you can find out everything about the topic on three levels. Only the entrance fee is pretty steep at 11 euros. For the Upper Austrian State Exhibition 2012, the entire square including the castle was subjected to a thorough renovation. Today a remarkable ensemble of castle, church, Kneipp fountain and 35 meter high sequoia tree.
