"During the difficult times of World War II, the Catholics of Landstuhl sought refuge in the Mother of God. This gave rise to a vow to build a chapel if Landstuhl remained largely spared from war damage. - In gratitude and to fulfill this vow, this Chapel of Our Lady was built. Here you can still see the remains of the engine house. Be careful, danger of collapse!

A really nice trail to ride. Definitely one of the most beautiful routes down from Höcherberg.

The seating at Elschbach station is private, not public

One of the best trails for any skill level. Can be ridden in both directions, but I would recommend going east to west. The trail is very washed out in one place, which means pushing uphill and can be very difficult downhill.
