The passenger and car ferry connects Wierzba with the western shore of Lake Bełdany. It allows for quick access from the Popielański Peninsula to Mikołajki, Kamień and Iznota. The crossing between the shores of Bełdany, which are about 400 meters away, takes a dozen or so minutes. The ferry in Wierzba is the only crossing of this type in Masuria. The ferry is open from May 29 to September 29, Monday to Sunday, from 11:00 to 18:00, The "Bełdany" ferry leaves for the first time at 11:00 from Wierzba, the last time at 17:40. If you are late for the last ferry, you have to drive around the entire Bełdany Lake - about 30 km

Such a ferry is not only a tourist attraction. It is also a great opportunity for a short rest and extra time for a meal - unless it starts to rain.

There is a huge sign at the entrance to the reserve to be careful. In horse practice, we saw two horses from a distance. So they sit deep in the woods. There are only traces of them on the road, so be careful not to run into: P
