The sediments of the Zeyerner Wall were deposited 215 million years ago.

In use until 1936, then fell into disrepair and was demolished. The weir with the mill canal is nevertheless a beautiful testimony to industrial culture.

The correct name of the pass is - Kreuzstein near Geuser - between Wallenfels and Wartenfels. See also https://www.quaeldich.de/paesse/kreuzstein/ The real Geuserberg is located north of the town of Geuser and offers a wonderful gravel drive from Zeyern via Dörnach to Geuser. In 2024, the entire road drive from Wallenfels is currently being extensively renovated. As of September, the road from Wallenfels to Geuser is still closed. The road from Geuser up to Kreuzstein is finished.

Fantastic, there are more places to sit around the Radspitzturm than on the entire Frankenweg up to this point.

Here you have a good view of the Staffelberg and the Gottesgarten. The area around here is unfortunately devastated.

The Radspitze airfield is located in the Seibelsdorf district, near the Markt Marktrodach hamlet of Mittelberg and, with a height of 678 m above sea level, is one of the higher take-off sites in the Franconian Forest. (Source: https://www.nbdf.de)
