I don't know how to define this place. Rest area, perhaps. It’s a small wood with a bench on the side of the road, a few trunks placed in a square around a fireplace, space. When I got there, it attracted me. I felt good there. There’s something… charming. We breathe there. And it feels good.

If you're looking for a scenic and easy hike in the Friborg Alps, you should visit Les Alpettes, a grassy peak that offers 360° views of the surrounding mountains and lakes. You can start from the village of Semsales and follow the yellow signs to the chapel of Notre-Dame du Niremont, then continue to the large chalet des Alpettes, where you can admire the traditional wooden roof. From there, you can climb to the cross and the highest point of the Alpettes (1413 m), and enjoy the panorama of the Moléson, the Teysachaux and the Niremont.
