Between 2002 and 2006, the Karlovy Vary Museum carried out archaeological investigations here, which clearly confirmed the older assumptions. Ultimately, the church was completely gutted after a geodetic survey and subsequently reconstructed in the form of a controlled ruin with small stone additions, including the use of some found elements of the window and portal cladding. Unfortunately it was closed when I was there, you couldn't see the lake at all, you could only see it through the Haun. :(
