The Pieter Boele steam tug is a historic Rhine steam tug dating from 1893, built at the Boele shipyard in Slikkerveer. She is moored in Wolwevershaven in Dordrecht and is still fully operational under steam – a unique feature in the world. The vessel is maintained by volunteers from the Dordt in Stoom Foundation and can be visited or booked for tours.

The Long Iron Bridge in Dordrecht is an elegant cast-iron bascule bridge dating from 1856, designed by G.N. Itz with castings supplied by L.I. Enthoven & Co. The bridge is approximately 60 meters long, has a movable center section, and has been thoroughly restored since 2005. It is a protected national monument and still in daily use – and also a photogenic icon of the Nieuwe Haven (New Harbor).

The Damiate Bridge in Dordrecht is a historic cast-iron drawbridge dating from 1855, designed by city architect G.N. Itz. It spans the Wolwevershaven and has been a national monument since 1990. The bridge is still manually operated and is a popular photo spot in the old city center.

Kyck over den Dyck is a windmill on the Noordendijk in the city of Dordrecht, in the Dutch province of South Holland. It is the only preserved windmill in that city. The original mill, built in 1612, was a wooden post mill. This mill ground malt, which served as a raw material for Dordrecht's beer brewers. In 1713, the small post mill was replaced by the current stone smock mill. In 1739, the mill switched to grinding grain. In 1871, the mill was hit by a tornado, which broke off both sails and the axle, and damaged the smock. The municipality of Dordrecht owned the mill from 1952 to 1997. Since then, the mill has been owned by the Kyck over den Dyck Mill Foundation. From 1999 to 2001, it was restored to working order, and subsequently operational thanks to a group of volunteers.

This former power station boasts no fewer than three level-floor theater and concert halls and three pop venues, eleven well-equipped rehearsal spaces for bands, and 30 dance studios, workshops, and classrooms. Open from early morning until late at night, it's a place where you can spark and celebrate your imagination and creativity. The Energiehuis is a robust building where strong cultural brands operate and program the venues. They regularly collaborate on programming at the Energiehuis, such as during the annual Dordrecht Cultural Night.

In Wantij Park stands a national monument that many people don't know about. On the banks of the Vlij River, you'll find an old wall. Or rather, the remains of a wall. Why is this wall there, and what was its purpose? The old wall in Wantij Park isn't there for nothing. It's a former shooting wall. More precisely, it belonged to the Corps of Pontooners, stationed in Dordrecht. This corps of the Dutch army was responsible for building (temporary) bridges and pontoons. In 1919, the municipality of Dordrecht decided to build a shooting range with a bullet trap outside the city. The pontooners returned to practice shooting there. That is, until Wantij Park was built around the wall. There were plans to move the shooting range to the end of the Staart, but that idea fell through due to the construction of Baanhoekweg. After considerable wrangling over where the shooting wall and range should go, it was decided to leave them where they were. Whenever shots were fired, the park was closed for the safety of visitors. The shooting range caused considerable disruption. It wasn't until 1961, when there was no longer a need for a shooting range in Dordrecht, that the last bullet was fired. The wall remained standing and served as a playground for children. It is now a national monument and is restored periodically.

The Groothoofdspoort is a historic city gate in Dordrecht, situated at the confluence of three rivers: the Beneden-Merwede, the Oude Maas, and the Noord. It is one of the city's oldest and most iconic buildings.
