Anyone who hikes around the headland on Kullaleden (70 km, part of Skåneleden SL 5) will have completed about half of the way past the lighthouse. Despite everyone's rights, wild camping is not permitted here as it is a nature reserve. At the large parking lot there is a windbreak and a small tent area for multi-day hikers to stay overnight. Unfortunately, the tent meadow is quite sloping and there is a lot going on in and around the parking lot, especially on weekends. There are much quieter overnight accommodations with windbreaks, toilets etc. at Himmelstorp, for example.

At the tip of the Kullen Peninsula is a scenic hiking area with a stormy headland and fabulous views down the steep headland. Partly steep, but no problem with sturdy shoes. Rare seabirds in a storm! Since 2021, one of these cigarette butts (Fimpa) containers (can = burk), which are more common in southern Sweden, have been standing at the spacious hiking car park with a rest area.
