The path today (July 7, 2025) was machete-worthy: nettles, blackberry bushes (more than a man's height), thistles, grass. In places, it was so overgrown that one had to question the concept and definition of a path. Despite the Sleeping Beauty hedge experience, it was great. Long trousers and long-sleeved outerwear are recommended. The limbo training course after the nettle field behind the Moidenthin stop in the direction of the village of Mecklenburg was also a highlight.

The station is served by trains every hour in both directions. It is a good starting point for hikes around the Wallensteingraben.

The rest area is near the former Petersdorf train station. Very nicely done up. Trains no longer stop here.

The path runs directly along the railway line. The forest is largely under water (at least in winter). Very beautiful and wild nature.

Well, it is the cradle of Mecklenburg. It is a mighty wall. If you are nearby, you should take a look at it.
