The Dorfkrug was built in 1835 as a gathering place and meeting point for locals and travelers. In 1980, as part of the GDR television filming of the film "Salt, Bread and Good Mood", he was christened "Zum Feuchten Willi". The restaurant with its hall and beer garden has retained this name to this day. Unfortunately the Dorfkrug is permanently closed. In 2022, the innkeepers of the cult pub were looking for a successor and probably didn't find anyone 🙁.

Neulietzegöricke is the oldest colonist village in the Oderbruch. After the Oderbruch was drained, Frederick the Great had the place created as the first colonist village in 1753. It got its name from the village of Alt Lietzegöricke on what is now the Polish side of the Oder. It is of Slavic origin and means something like bare mountain. Neulietzegöricke was laid out as an elongated street village. The shaft or water drainage ditch was created in the middle of the village, between the two village streets. The excavation was sensibly used to raise the height of the colonists' houses. Only public buildings were allowed to stand in the center of the village, these were the church, the school and the inn. The place with its many restored half-timbered houses is now a listed building as a village ensemble of the oldest colonist village in the Oderbruch from 1753.

Like many of the old colonist villages in the Oderbruch, Neulewin is crossed by a drainage ditch. However, a natural body of water flows here, the Lewin Graben, which spans several bridges and footbridges in the local area. The Lewin Graben begins at the Groß Neuendorf parallel ditch, which was used to drain dikes on the Oder, and flows south of Neulewin into the Volzine, which in turn leads over the main ditch to the Alte Oder. Outside the local area, the Lewin Graben is also known as the city ditch. In the past, this ditch was not only used for drainage, but also served as a bathing area or cattle trough. The village meadow was used as pasture until around 1830, before the gardens with their walkways were later created. Unfortunately, today the Lewin Graben has often dried up.

As the Oderbruch was drained between 1753 and 1767, Neulewin emerged as a colonist village with 80 families settled there. The year 1755 is considered the official founding date of the village of Neulewin. The first memorial stone was erected on July 16, 1905 on the occasion of the 150th anniversary and in honor of Friedrich II. During GDR times, the stone was changed twice before the stone was re-set in 2002 as part of the village renewal. The fencing that can be seen today was built in 2005 as part of the 250th anniversary celebrations.

Near the village square (village center) is the memorial for the Neulewin residents who fell in the First World War in the form of a column crowned by an iron cross, in the upper area an eagle with outstretched wings and below a plaque with the inscription. Below you can find the name boards all around. The inscriptions read on the front: "Death for the Fatherland is worthy of constant veneration. 1914 - 1918" and on the back: "Dedicated in grateful memory to the heroes of the World War by the community of Neulewin." Another plaque commemorates the victims of the Second World War: "In memory of the fallen and war dead, Neulewin community 1939-1945".

In 1755, Christoph Moser and his family were among the Austrian colonists who settled in Neubarnim after the Oderbruch was drained. Around 1860, Julius Ferdinand Moser, a descendant of the family, acquired this farm in Neulewin with arable land. The court flourished under Karl Wilhelm Moser. He ran effective farming and had the large stables built in 1900. From 1936 onwards, the Mosers were the first farmers in Neulewin to cultivate cucumbers in the field. In 1945 the barn and house were destroyed, as was the workers' house belonging to the farm. The Moser family moved to the Federal Republic of Germany in 1953. The local farm took over the property and land and in 1954 it was transferred to the LPG Type III “Oderbruch” Neulewin. In 1990, Friedrich Moser successfully filed a claim for retransfer of his property, but in 1996 the municipality acquired part of the property. In 2007, Prof. Dr. Hannelore Scholz-Lübbering and her husband Johannes Lübbering took over the remaining parts of the property from Wilhelm Moser in order to develop it as the headquarters of the Lübbering Foundation, which was founded on September 1st, 2007. The Lübbering Foundation is a non-profit foundation. A cultural teaching and meeting place is being created from the existing Moserhof buildings.
