A great cycling route and hiking trails run along the Grimmershörn bay; cycling is prohibited. There's a lovely swimming spot with beach chairs and a sunbathing lawn. Public restrooms and a great restaurant with an outdoor terrace overlooking the Elbe are also available. Highly recommended.

A wonderful place to relax. You can swim in Grimmershörn Bay and, with enough wind, also kitesurf. Highly recommended! 👍🏻 Beach chairs are available, but most belong to hotels or holiday apartments. There are changing rooms, showers, and toilets. A restaurant with friendly staff and good food is located right on the water. You'll need to push your bike for a short stretch.

I enjoyed a lovely hike on Duhnen beach in November. It was a bit foggy, and the sun never managed to break through. Despite that, it was a beautiful hike. A bike tour is also highly recommended; the cycle paths are in excellent condition.
