The Borgfelder Wümmewiesen nature reserve from 1987 is the largest nature reserve in Bremen with 677 hectares.

One of the most beautiful, if not the most beautiful, route in the Bremen bacon coat. Unfortunately extremely crowded at weekends or when the weather is nice. Handcart tours, skaters, walkers, cars and (racing) cyclists. Don't let yourself be distracted by the beautiful nature ;)

Small wooden tower, but the view from above is still good. You can easily observe the fields (in April 2024 these will be taken over by the water).

Very nice section for biking with great views. In late autumn there is sometimes some flooding, which makes some paths impassable and where you can get your feet wet.

Meadows and pure nature. In autumn the greylag geese rest there.
