Definitely my favorite place in Geneva, whatever the season, early in the morning or as evening falls. It feels good, somewhere else, and a place where you can dream all at once.

Easy - free parking (with macaron) at Le Griffon Tennis Club. Can be very muddy in parts after rain. Good all year nature reserve but few birds in Winter.

Yvoire is one of the Most Beautiful Villages in France. Its medieval heritage, its label as a flowery town, and its privileged position on the banks of Lake Geneva have something to do with it. Take the time to stroll through its historic center and get lost on the trails of the many natural spaces of this town in the Thonon-les-Bains agglomeration.

great walk, didn't last, magnificent view of the Alps, Jura, Saleve...I recommend it when you have 3 hours to spare

On the Rouelbeau side, there are beavers, the rest is indicated by a sign on the side of the road, at the bottom of Carre d'Aval.

The conservatory and botanical garden are open every day from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Guided tours offered to the public are free and take place in all weathers. Number of places limited to 15 people. The marshes are so called (the second name) because they are close to the ruins of the Château de Rouelbeau. These swamps are not large and the flora only has 4 species. As for the fauna, there are various birds, amphibians, insects but no mammals. The area is protected by ProNatura Geneva.

A pretty little pass, quite rolling (5%) on a road away from the heavy traffic of the departmental road at its foot.
