🏰 The former water tower in Horb am Neckar is a striking example of the town's infrastructure history and an architectural highlight near Horb train station. Originally, it served to supply water to the steam locomotives at the important railway junction of Horb, as well as to the town's water supply. With the end of the steam locomotive era and the modernization of the water pipes, it lost its original technical function.

The Flösserweg (Raftsmen's Trail) and the Flösserwasen (Raftsmen's Meadow) are the heart of Horb. Strolling paths and walks, from the old outdoor swimming pool to the small animal breeders' association, always along the Neckar River, invite visitors to take a walk and enjoy the many benches along the way.

It is not merely a bridge, but also a symbol: The design concept incorporates a raft, playfully evoking the history of log rafting on the Neckar River. The footbridge is an important pedestrian route, connecting the train station/lower town with the banks of the Neckar and with recreational areas. The footbridge makes the Neckar riverbank accessible; the area is popular for strolling, sitting, enjoying the beer garden, and experiencing nature.

The town hall (council house and guardhouse) stands on the market square of Horb. First mentioned: as early as 1420 in the town charter. The majority of the current building was rebuilt after the town fire of 1725, between 1733 and 1765. The town hall consists of two gabled, three-story buildings with pitched roofs. The striking facade of the town hall is adorned with a mural ("Horb Picture Book") depicting scenes from the town's history. This mural was created between 1925 and 1927 by the Horb artist Wilhelm Klink.
