A classic alpine refuge, starting point and destination for many great hikes. The refuge offers food, drinks and accommodation for all mountain lovers, and is the perfect place for a coffee before a ride or a beer after a ride, all in a spectacular alpine location. If you plan to stay overnight at the refuge, be sure to book in advance, as this refuge can be very popular during the summer months, partly because it is accessible by car and has a large parking, making it a great starting point for an adventure.

The lake also offers excellent alpine trails leading to and from it, allowing for world-class technical alpine riding. These trails are multi-use and the lake is very popular with hikers, so be sure to watch out for pedestrians and be courteous. The lake also has a fantastic refuge on its banks, making it a great destination for a break along the way, with snacks, drinks and sunbathing.
