The SAC Glecksteinhütte is located above Grindelwald, on a green terrace with breathtaking views of the valley and the surrounding mountains. It is the ideal refuge for those seeking adventure and relaxation in the mountains, with simple rooms, a cozy dining room and a sunny terrace. It is a paradise for wildlife lovers, families, mountaineers and paragliders. The kitchen offers regional dishes prepared with local ingredients. The Mönchsjoch Hut is located in the middle of the Jungfrau-Aletsch UNESCO World Heritage Site, at the foot of the Great Aletsch Glacier. It is the highest manned hut that is entirely on Swiss soil. https://www.moenchsjoch.ch

The circular trail is almost 500 metres long and always offers you the perfect view of the UNESCO World Heritage Swiss Alps Jungfrau-Aletsch. Information boards along the route provide interesting facts about the largest ice stream in the Alps and the surrounding mountains. The circular trail starts directly at the Eggishorn mountain station.
