Near the waterfall is a large parking lot (parking fee required). From there, you can hike up to the Staubbachhubel in about 10 minutes. To get even closer to the waterfall, you have to walk through a small tunnel and up a few steps. Depending on the wind direction, you'll be refreshed by the spray at the top.
Good footwear isn't essential, but it's recommended, as the path can be slippery.
At the start of the short trail, there are two information panels about the history of the waterfall.
