Panorama of Mont Blanc, the Grandes Jorrasses, the Dent du Midi

This is one of the best viewpoints to watch the sunset and see Mont Blanc in alpenglow. There are several easy hiking trails that lead from the car park (Col de Joux Plane) to this viewpoint. Definitely worth it!

From here, you can go back down the other side or continue up to the top of the lake. Be careful, the path back is very dangerous if you're afraid of heights and don't wear proper footwear. It's a very steep descent; there are wire ropes on the rock faces, but not everywhere. And you'll be walking over rocks where you can't immediately see where the trail leads. It's best to go back the way you came.

Col de Cou is a mountain pass on the border of France and Switzerland. This beautiful area offers some of the most stunning views over the Dents Blanches massif. There’s a small bivouac at the summit where you can find shelter in case of bad weather.

From the pass, naturally, you will enjoy fantastic views of this historic region, and the pass itself is an excellent summary of this region, making it an ideal place to visit for those new to the area. Many trails connect to this point, making it accessible to all types of cyclists and walks.

A beautiful highlight on a long, grassy ridge, connected to a multitude of different riding options. Living up to its name, the summit offers excellent views of the Dent du Midi region, as well as the surrounding mountains, making this peak an excellent place to stop for lunch and enjoy the panorama.
