    The climb from the Auberge de Chindonne has endless switchbacks up to the summit. But the view from the summit of the Rhone Valley and Lake Geneva and the mountains behind it is very beautiful and makes up for the exertion 👍🏻. There is a lot of space at the summit.
    On the other side towards the south you have the Dents du Midi without any disturbing mountains in front. Just the one, the Dent de Valère at 2267m🤷🏻‍♂️. The way there is along a beautiful ridge walk. From there there really is no mountain in between until you reach the Dents du Midi.

      Magnificent view of the rest of the hike along the edge. There are also some rocks to sit on for a picnic.

        The climb is worth it.
        You have to pay attention to the weather conditions.
        You have a very beautiful, wide view. You almost feel like you can see the whole of Switzerland 😅 but it is only 2058 meters
