The Tåsjö Local History Museum, opened in summer 2023, showcases the development of the village's history through approximately six hundred objects. The central building is a manor house dating from 1865. There is also a mill, a smoke sauna, a historic cabin, and much more. The museum café offers homemade food and handcrafted items for sale. Construction of a chapel on Lake Tåsjön began in 1762, and it was consecrated in 1773. A tower was added by 1800. This first chapel was demolished in 1881. The present wooden church was built a few kilometers west of the former chapel between 1872 and 1878 according to plans by the architect Emil Viktor Langlet. The three-aisled basilica, with a wide and a short central nave, is adjoined to the east by a two-story sacristy and to the west by a church tower with an octagonal lantern. The church was remodeled in 1957, during which the porches along the long sides were removed. The pulpit likely dates from the time of the first chapel. It was painted in 1815 by Mårten Olofsson from Hallen. The organ is new, having been installed in 2001 by Grönlunds Orgelbyggeri.

The long, narrow Lake Tåsjön is almost forty kilometers long and a maximum of three kilometers wide between Kyrktåsjö and Sandnäset. The lake is at its narrowest point, measuring just one kilometer, between Brattbäcken and Aldernäset. Located 252 meters above sea level, the lake covers an area of 45 square kilometers and reaches a depth of up to 48 meters.

Located directly on the shores of Lake Tåsjön, the picturesque Norråker campsite offers fully serviced pitches for motorhomes and caravans, as well as tent pitches and cozy furnished cabins. The spacious service building features a large communal living room and a fully equipped kitchen, two bathrooms with toilets and showers, and a laundry room with a washing machine and dryer.

The cottage, just a stone's throw from the lake, was once the house where the log drivers waited at the weir at the narrow point in the lake's inflow until enough timber had flowed from the Saxälven and Sjoutälven rivers to float it down Lake Tasjön on a raft held together by a net. Hence the name Bomvaktarstugan, the gatekeeper's hut. Today, the hut, built in the 1940s, can be rented as a simple holiday home with electricity, a refrigerator, and a cooktop. The water, just as it always was, comes from the lake. The toilet, sink, and shower are outside.
