Ideally, you should even repeat the loop two or three times – and the different light alone makes everything shine in a new light. This is the Winterihau biotope, and there was a small mistake. An obsolescent oasis of peace, a natural paradise. Always push your bikes—and take your time, lots of time. Walk through it a few times, looking for and finding hidden beauties...

The biotope is not a trail paradise but a nature reserve. Please respect that and only visit it on foot.

A natural paradise - an oasis of peace

The boulder at the boundary stone was transported to this location from the Alps during the Ice Age. An information board is attached.

Iron Age finds and earthwork of unknown date, also beautiful rock formations and, depending on the weather, a good view.

Ice age boulder made from Verrucano rock. Place of origin: St. Gallen Oberland. The boulder probably served as a cult stone in prehistoric times.
