The observation tower offers a fantastic view over the Rhäden! With the free telescope you can observe the bird life in the center of the pond landscape. The observation tower is actually the most beautiful observation post in the Rhäden.

This observation post is located right next to a pond, so the viewing windows are very small. Unfortunately, vegetation here and there prevents perfect observation, but if you have enough patience, you can watch the birds up close. On the outside there are plenty of information boards about all the inhabitants of this landscape.

There is a small natural barbecue area directly behind the island pond. At the edge of the forest you can refresh yourself with fresh spring water at a beautiful wooden fountain.
