The world-famous "Nymph Fountain." Designed in 1903 by Walter Schott in the Art Nouveau style, it was originally conceived for the fountain courtyard of the Wertheim department store in Berlin and presumably brought here in 1932 by Emil Georg von Stauß, then owner of Schlitz Castle. The fountain depicts three approximately life-size bronze nymphs dancing around the water feature on a sandstone trough.
