Here you'll find an abundance of roses of all kinds and colors. The many large trees, numerous perennials, and sculptures also add value to this exhibition.

On an 18,000 square meter former factory site, almost 450 rose species and varieties are presented to the visitor. The collection of Bad Langensalza roses is particularly worth seeing for its grace and diversity – between 1950 and 1990, 91 rose varieties were bred here alone.

Excalibur in the Wipper Valley. On the Schwertfelsen, also known as the Traditionsfelsen, on the edge of the Wipper Valley is the Mansfeld version of Excalibur. Perhaps the real one 😉...

The Wettelrode artificial pond was created in 1728 as part of the copper mining industry. It was used to supply the Carolus shaft with water. Today the pond is a local recreation area and is used for fishing and swimming. A few meters further on, on the west bank, you will find a restaurant for a stop.
