At this point, you can forget about the trail. Starting from the east, you lose interest halfway through because forestry equipment has destroyed the path. It'll be a while before a rideable trail is created there again.

The interesting part is now overgrown with branches from numerous small beech trees on both sides. From above, the path is no longer visible under the leaves and snow, but from below it is still visible. However, the ascent is not particularly attractive and the beech trees punish you with whiplashes - and that even in winter...

Highly frequented. And the many wild trails left and right in the forest are ruinous for the reputation of MTB'ler. But the path is a must if you want to do a route in Kneeden.

I think this (and the second section) is probably the most popular trail for mountain bikers in Reinfeld and the surrounding area. Always good for a quick after-work ride, a bit more challenging depending on the weather, but definitely appealing in every season. Looks very tempting from below! The access road is closed at times, however, and the curve at the end would spoil all the fun anyway🤷🏼‍♀️
