Currently (6/2022) hardly passable at the upper entrance. But it can be conquered with an (e)MTB.

03/05/22: Big trail through the Plessewald, flowing in both directions. Since 2021 a lot of tree felling work. Therefore, parts tore apart and moved in some places through tree trunks and branches. Some deep mud holes. Still manageable with the necessary attention. Little frequented. See also my tours 45 km trailing day and its variants.

The trails are very pleasant to ride, also easy for kids to do. A few mud holes (wild boar wallows?), But manageable.

The wide forest path can also be ridden with a trekking or gravel bike. The narrow and partly densely overgrown paths are more suitable for mountain bikes.

Another update 😅 The upper part is still there, the lower part now has a washed-out spine mark. ATTENTION at the end the washouts are sometimes 40cm deep and parts are underwashed.

I can only agree with the highlight recommendation. The route is super flowy, easy to drive even in winter and is one of my favorite trails. After heavy rain, a few mud holes and deep wading areas, everything is well manageable and mobile. Have fun!

After a few days without rain it can be driven on but is more demanding.

The upper part can still be driven, in the lower part there is no path or forest and only consists of back tracks.

As of March 22, the trail is great to drive and a real must for all mountain bikers in the region. Since the trail is very flat, it is perfect for E-MTB. But I also had a lot of fun with a normal bike. 100% recommendable !!!
