I can only agree with the highlight recommendation. The route is super flowy, easy to drive even in winter and is one of my favorite trails. After heavy rain, a few mud holes and deep wading areas, everything is well manageable and mobile. Have fun!

As of March 22, the trail is great to drive and a real must for all mountain bikers in the region.
Since the trail is very flat, it is perfect for E-MTB.
But I also had a lot of fun with a normal bike. 100% recommendable !!!

The trails in Plessewald above Eddigehs. east of the Ibenberg to beyond the crossing of the upper Billingshäuser gorge direction Hünstollen are all year round except for a few deep mud holes after heavy rainfall good to very good in both directions passable. There are also some variants, so that you can come total on about 15 km single trails. In 2019 often partial closures wg. Tree felling, which should be continued in 2020. It does not matter anyway! There are forest and forest roads to avoid.

Long, very beautiful trail through the Plesse forest from the Plessestr. (shortly after the branch of the Hünstollenstr.) with crossing of the Billingshäuser gorge (just before their confluence with the Pressestr.) To the Mistweg.
