Brunswick West Station 1886 - 1997

There are several beautiful trails in the Wittkopsberge. Not all of them are documented here on the map, so it's worth keeping your eyes open and taking a turn. However, the sandy soil and repeated steep ramps require strength.

Nice long single trail. Fun in both directions and leads to the MTB course.

Braunschweig West station, also known locally as Westbahnhof, was a depot on the Braunschweig Nord–Lichtenberg (Ringbahn) railway line in the western part of the city of Braunschweig that was used until the 1990s. Since 2007, Westbahnhof has been the name of an urban renewal project in the entire vicinity of the station area. Under the title "Culture - Business - Leisure", the conditions for the local businesses were improved with the help of European funds, green and recreational areas were created and used for social facilities such as a youth square, a multi-generation park and a "garden without borders".
