A skate park with designated areas for skateboarders, inline skaters, and mountain bikers has been installed in Kamenz's old public swimming pool. The spacious complex also features numerous recreational and green spaces, a swing for the little ones, and two beach volleyball courts. Thus, the skate park in Kamenz offers recreational and leisure opportunities for young and old. Every year on June 1st, International Children's Day takes place in the old public swimming pool, organized by the German Child Protection Association (Kamenz local chapter). Absolutely not recommended in midsummer. The trails are completely overgrown with blackberry bushes.
